Despite all the warnings of the police about the actions of fraudsters, people continue to get trapped by scammers. Almost every day, citizens are faced with a variety of criminal schemes.
A local resident contacted the police department of Kramatorsk. She said that a person, supposedly an employee of the bank, called her on her mobile phone and informed about the blocking of her bank card. The attacker asked the woman to give her personal account information. After fulfilling all the requirements of the pseudo-banker, 10,000 UAH disappeared from the account.
Criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 1 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud), the press service of the police reported.
