Poland allocated more than one million dollars to solve humanitarian problems in the occupied territories of the Donbass this winter. The funds were transferred to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
This was reported on Twitter by the representative of Poland to the organization.
According to the UN, 5.2 million people in eastern Ukraine will survive the sixth winter in an armed conflict. The allocated money will be used to help the most vulnerable, including the elderly and people with disabilities.
Earlier it was reported that the UN sent three trucks with humanitarian supplies to the Donbass. They transported a batch of manufactured goods.
We recall, on September 4, nine trucks with humanitarian supplies from the Red Cross arrived in the Donbass. They brought hygiene products, food products and building materials with a total weight of more than 166 tons.
