Ukrainian sailors and former political prisoners received new passports of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card and a passport.
According to the State Migration Service, for the convenience and speed of processing new documents, a mobile station went to the Ukrainians to places where the freed Ukrainians are being treated.
Also, those released from Russian captivity received identification numbers.
We recall that on September 7, an exchange of prisoners in the format 35 to 35 took place between Ukraine and Russia. The exchange took place in parallel. As part of the exchange, Oleg Sentsov, Pavel Grib, Vladimir Balukh and other political prisoners returned to Ukraine. Also, 24 Ukrainian sailors who were captured in the Kerch Strait returned home. Relatives, friends, journalists and representatives of the highest authorities met the plane with the Ukrainians.
