All terms of childhood vaccinations now meet the requirements of the World Health Organization. These terms differ from those that were in effect before. First, vaccination of children from tuberculosis will be done only once – on the third or fifth day after birth.

At seven years, this vaccination will not be done anymore. The second vaccination against hepatitis B the baby will be made in the second month of child’s life, and not in the first, as it was before. The change of this term will give an opportunity to further vaccinate a child with a multicomponent vaccine.

And it will protect the baby from diphtheria, pertussis, poliomyelitis and hepatitis B. In addition, parents will less often take the kids to the hospital, unloading their family doctors and pediatricians. According to the doctors, if the child was not vaccinated within the prescribed time, then it can be done later.

But it is necessary to coordinate this with a family doctor or pediatrician. Ulyana Suprun, the Acting Minister of Health, told on her page in the social network that she guaranteed the quality of all vaccines that the state purchased and delivered to medical institutions in Ukraine.

We learned a new schedule already. As Tatyana Shishimareva, the chief doctor of the Center for Primary Health Care of Konstantinovka, told ZI, today the vaccination schedule is posted on the website of healthcare institutions.
