In early July, the government made changes to some of the decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers relating to the activities of the Donbass Water Company, RBC-Ukraine reported. The text of Resolution No. 570 of July 5, 2019 is published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers. In accordance with the document, for the time of conducting the JFO (Joint Forces Operation) no measures are applied to the utility for limiting and cutting off the power supply.
The government instructed the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services, together with Ukrinterenergo, to take measures to restructure the debt for the Donbass Water Company. The restructuring agreement is proposed to be concluded until July 17 of this year.
And yet, the Cabinet of Ministers recommends identifying sources of financing when paying for the current electricity consumption of the Donbass Water Company. The government recommends, offers, and several thousand consumers of the Donbass Water Company living in the villages of the Ilyinskaya community, have been without water for a month already. The reason is the disconnection of the power station pump of the Donbass Water Company.
