Today the opening of the first inclusive branch of Oschadbank in the Donetsk region took place in Slavyansk. The event was attended by the chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavel Kirilenko and the head of the Donetsk Regional Department of Oschadbank Svetlana Yakivchik.
The branch provides an ATM and information and payment terminals with a keyboard marking, built-in handsets and a voice management program, tactile tiles, cash register windows are provided for convenient service of customers with impaired musculoskeletal system and vision. In order to provide quality service to hearing impaired clients, employees of the inclusive department have been trained in the basics of sign language.
“This is the first inclusive branch in the Donetsk region, next year it is planned to open three more branches - in Bakhmut, Mariupol, Pokrovsk. The main thing is that people understand that the state takes care of them, their needs are not left without attention. Now, when designing kindergartens and any other state institutions, inclusive needs are always taken into account, so I can say with confidence that we have taken the first but important step on our path, which we will overcome together,” – the head of the region emphasized.
Pavel Kirilenko also emphasized that other social institutions will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, and the heads of local governments will pay attention to this.
We recall that the inclusive branch is a banking institution adapted for comfortable servicing of all clients, including clients with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, clients belonging to the mobility impaired group, and clients with visual or hearing impairments. Especially for inclusive departments, technical solutions are being developed that have no analogues in Ukraine.
