The Borys Kolesnikov Fund and the Board of Trustees of major cities in the Donetsk region are implementing social projects aimed at supporting the local population and the needy.
As part of one of the charity programs, the Fund installed six new elevators in high-rise buildings of Konstantinovka. Since September 2018, new elevators in the houses were received and put into operation: 6th September Street, 67 (1st and 2nd entrances), Gromova Street, 31 (1 and 2 entrances) and Pobedy Square, 3 (1 and 2 entrances). The works were performed by specialists of Donkomplekt LLC. The next step is the installation of elevators for residents of the third entrance of the house on Pobedy Square, 3 and two entrances on Astronavtov Boulevard, 5.
According to the President of the Fund, by the end of this year, philanthropists will install six more elevators in the houses of Konstantinovka. “According to our calculations, 52 elevators do not work in the city, but 40 of them can be repaired. The remaining 12 need only be changed, and we set ourselves this task. Of course, the Fund should not interfere in the municipal services of the city, be engaged in the installation of elevators, but I do not see any other solution to the existing problem. I thank the specialists for the high-quality and fast work, the tenants have already appreciated our efforts, because the newer the better,” - Borys Kolesnikov noted.
Citizens admit: the installation of elevators for them is a long-awaited and joyful event. "I have been living in the nine-storey building on Gromova Street, 31 for already thirty years, and the elevator in our first entrance has been closed for more than ten years. Whenever we applied during this time - everything was useless! I am disabled, so walking down from the top floor or going upstairs is an almost insuperable obstacle for me. I had been staying in the apartment for weeks. Fortunately, the neighbors were helping: they were bringing bags of groceries, buying medicines. Due to the fact that the elevator is back in action, I can return to a full life: go out, do my own shopping. Many thanks to the benefactors for caring for people!” - Nelli Komoltseva, a resident of Konstantinovka, said.
Specialists involved in the installation of new machines, speak not only about their modern design, but also about the high level of security of all equipment. "Elevators produced by Karat-Liftkomplekt LLC have all the necessary quality certificates. The main station is fully automated. If suddenly there are any fluctuations, they are instantly fixed by the sensors. The result - the elevator will turn off and the door will open. The main thing: three levels of security. The declared service life is 25 years,” - Sergey Ponomarev, the chief engineer of Donkomplekt LLC, noted.
The relevant decisions of the city council of Konstantinovka on the adoption of new elevators from the Borys Kolesnikov Fund are posted on the official website of the City Council.
We recall that in March, the Borys Kolesnikov Fund, with the support of the Board of Trustees, opened the School of Cooking Art in Konstantinovka. One of these days a driving school will be opened in the city, where young people from 17 to 23 will be able to study. Classes in schools organized by the Fund are free.
