Ukrainian border patrol did not let pass a batch of tobacco products without excise labels. A man tried to transport it from temporarily uncontrolled territory to Mariupol.
This is stated in the press service of the Donetsk border guard detachment.
Thus, a citizen of Ukraine, born in 1993, arrived at the “Novotroitskoye” Checkpoint by the Donetsk-Mariupol route.
During the work of the joint examination group of border patrol and representatives of the fiscal service, it was revealed that the man had been trying to transport tobacco products “Priluki Special” in the luggage compartment of the car without excise labels in the amount of 450 packs.
The citizen and the goods were handed over to the fiscal service for the adoption legal decision and the drafting of protocols under Part 1 of Art. 204-3, and part 1 of Art. 164-5.
During the conversation between the citizen and the operatives, he explained that he bought the confiscate in the militants' store located between the “checkpoint” of the “Yelenovka” combatants and the zero checkpoint of the so-called DNR and hoped to sell it in the controlled territory in order to earn some money.
