Ever since April 1, according to the “Affordable Medicines” program, electronic prescriptions began to be released to patients. Having prescribed medications for treating a patient in electronic form, a family doctor or another specialist sent an SMS with a special code to the mobile phone.
According to this code, medicines should have been given to the patient in a pharmacy. But none of the eleven signatories to the pharmacies in Konstantinovka signed with the National Health Service worked with electronic prescriptions either in April or mid-May.
On Friday, May 17, the first medicines were released according to electronic prescriptions in the pharmacy Magia-Farm, which was on Kosmonavtov Boulevard. In the rest, according to data on Monday, May 20, medicines were not given by electronic prescription. The reasons are very different.
For example, the contract was concluded by LLC Donbass Pharmaceuticals - Trading, which is located in the building of the 5th hospital. But today, to start dispensing medicines, pharmacists need a second computer. And they don’t have it yet, but it should be delivered as soon as possible.
For technical reasons, the pharmacy No. 230 (railway station) also does not work under the program “Affordable Medicines”. However, the administration of the company is looking for an opportunity to begin to fulfill contractual obligations. By the end of this week, it is planned to start dispensing medicines in the Pidtikan PE (Lomonosova ave., 101). This situation has developed in many cities of Ukraine.
For reference: According to the National Health Service on May 15, 1.7 million electronic prescriptions have been issued in Ukraine. Patients have already received medicines using more than 1.2 million prescriptions. Of the 6,540 pharmacies that have entered into contracts with the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, 2,839 are dispensing medicines according to electronic prescriptions.
The head of the National Health Service, Oleg Petrenko, stressed that almost 23% of the prescriptions prescribed were given out by the doctor within an hour after the prescription. The most active in the issuance of electronic prescriptions are physicians of the Dnipro, Kharkiv and Lviv regions, Ukrinform reports.
