The economic growth declared by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Goncharuk at the level of 5-7% is impossible without ending the war and establishing a peaceful life. This was stated by the MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Vadim Novinsky on Thursday, August 29.
According to him, the new composition of the government causes suspicion among deputies from the OPPOSITION BLOC.
“We abstained from voting on staff appointments. There are many questions for all personalities. No one could properly explain what exactly they were going to do, what are the top priorities. Everyone forgot about the main task for the current government - to establish peace. No one said about the vision of how they are going to do this,” – Vadim Novinsky said.
The politician commented on the statement of the new prime minister on economic growth at the level of 5-7%.
“Without peace, the economy will not grow, there will be no improvement in the welfare of Ukrainians. Therefore, it is necessary first of all to adopt laws in fulfillment of the Minsk agreements,” – the MP stressed.
Vadim Novinsky said that the OPPOSITION BLOC has prepared three packages of bills that are aimed at establishing peace and economic recovery.
“The political package of our bills concerns the implementation of the Minsk agreements. The second package is economic: reduction of tariffs and the abolition of military duty. The third package is humanitarian. It aims to abolish all the "innovations" adopted by the Poroshenko’s team, in particular the language law and discriminatory laws relating to the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church,” – the politician emphasized.
