The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka signed an order according to which Yevgeny Bondarenko was dismissed from the post of prosecutor of the Donetsk region. A statement about this on September 12 was made by the press service of the Procecutor General's Office of Ukraine. The reasons for the dismissal were not disclosed.
"Guided by Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Prosecutor's Office," the Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka signed orders for the dismissal of prosecutors from the Donetsk, Poltava and Chernihiv regions," – the report said.
This is not the first dismissal among Ukrainian prosecutors in recent years. Earlier, the prosecutor general dismissed prosecutors from Vinnitsa, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Lviv, Odessa, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopol, as well as Cherkasy regions.
