This year, grand mass events will be arranged on Europe Day in Mariupol. City dwellers will be amazed by performances of street musicians and theaters from all over Ukraine. The plans also include a dance battles, a performance of a symphony orchestra, a children's interactive zone, large puppet dances, a shadow theater, a disco and dance master classes.
Festive events will begin at 03:00 PM and end at eleven in the evening, the press service of the City Council of Mariupol reports. On the festive evening at 09:00 PM, artists from the Lviv Academic Theater will perform for residents of Mariupol. Theaters with candles and lamps will show the interpretation of Chekhov's “The Seagulls”.
A food court will be organized for lovers of good food. It is promised to offer traditional European cuisine. All events will be held in the City Garden.
According to local journalists, the city will spend one million UAH to celebrate Europe Day.
