A new fire truck has appeared in the arsenal of rescuers of Mariupol, local journalists reported.
The rescue service received a gift from the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant Azovstal. The car was donated to the State Emergency Service in honor of the professional holiday of lifeguards.
According to Mikhail Timofeev, the head of the state fire rescue unit-42, the car is equipped with modern fire barrels, hoses, a pump, containers for storing liquid fire extinguishing substances and means for supplying them. In addition, it contains more water and a foaming agent. The car cabin is additionally reinforced with seals against dust and moisture, and the seats for personnel are equipped with breathing apparatus.
In addition, the car is equipped with a special retractable light tower, which will provide good lighting during the work of rescuers in the dark.
The cost of the car is 6.3 million UAH.
