The State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre will complete an inventory of agricultural land by October 1, 2020.
This was announced by deputy head of the department Alexander Krasnolutsky during a workshop on Wednesday, September 26, answering a question from Prime Minister Alexei Goncharuk, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“Next year we will complete it 100%... By the entry into force of the law on the land market,” - Krasnolutsky said.
According to him, last year the State Geocadastre identified 1 million errors in the inventory and corrected them.
This year, an inventory of 1 million hectares of land was ordered, he said.
The day before it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a draft law on the land market. The government approved the text of the bill and passes it to the parliament, the people's deputy said.
In case of adoption of the law, the opening of the land market will take place on October 1 of next year.
