A social hostel was opened in the Dnipropetrovsk region, on the territory of the Tomakovskaya joint territorial community. It is opened for internally displaced persons and families who found themselves in difficult life situations. This was reported by Donetsk News.
The social project was implemented with the support of the GIZ fund, and in the search for sponsors they also collaborated with the Dnipropetrovsk Center for Local Self-Government Development of the U-LEAD with Europe Program.
“These two objects are unique not only for our region, but also for Ukraine, because this is an example of a comprehensive service that the community will functionally provide not only to its residents, but also to other communities based on inter-municipal relations. Tomakovskaya JTC became a vivid example of enhancing the functional ability of JTC,” –Elena Tertyshnaya, the director of the Dnipropetrovsk Center, said during the opening.
