The police suspect Okvin-5 LLC officials in the assignment of 35 million UAH for the reconstruction of Sobornaya Square in Druzhkovka, the Donetsk Region. This is reported by the News of Donbass, with reference to the "Civil Patrol".
At the end of 2018, the police investigators of Druzhkovka petitioned the court to provide them with lists of employees at Okvin-5 LLC and information about the payment of salaries to employees for the period from January to September last year. The Town Court of Druzhkovka dismissed this petition.
Repair of the area was ordered by the Department of Capital Construction of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. The Mayor Valery Gnatenko presented the reconstruction project in the spring of 2017.
According to the information of journalists, the police officer Victoria Aniskina, who is the sister of the wife of the Mayor of Druzhkovka Svetlana Gnatenko, is investigating possible economic crimes of Okvin-5.
The tender for repairs for 33.65 million UAH was won by Okvin-5 LLC from Konstantinovka. Gnatenko and the then head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavel Zhebrivsky expressed on the reliability of this company. This company received government orders for more than 500 million UAH.
At the same time, Okvin-5 was already a defendant in the scandals in Konstantinovka - the contractor poorly repaired the sewage treatment plants and became a defendant in the criminal proceedings for embezzling 4 million UAH in the construction of a hub school.
Work began in the winter of 2017, but has not yet been completed.
