The Cabinet of Ministers launched the e-pension service, approving a decree on electronic services in the field of pension provision.
This decision was made during a government meeting on July 17, according to RBC-Ukraine.
Thus, the Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for E-Government, Alexey Viskub, in his Facebook noted that the decree provides for significant optimization and introduction of such massive and socially important services online:
- pension assignment;
- recalculation of pensions;
- the appointment of retirement allowances, benefits, supplements and compensations;
- the resumption of pension payments;
- transfer from one type of pension to another.
According to him, thanks to the introduction of electronic interaction, the number of documents required from the applicant will be reduced by 9.
The explanatory note to the project states that the introduction of electronic interaction between the Pension Fund and other executive authorities will allow the use of the potential of 5-7 electronic information registries operating in the state.
“Considering that there are about 12 million pensioners in Ukraine, as well as the fact that there is a possibility of submitting applications in electronic form, the number of citizens who personally visit the Pension Fund’s authorities to submit documents will significantly decrease. There will be a significant saving in workers' time,” – the note says.
The Cabinet also explained that the administrative burden on citizens will be reduced. The number of documents that must be submitted to receive pensions, allowances and additional payments to them, will be also significantly reduced.
We recall that from July 1, Ukraine has increased the pension for persons with long labor experience - not less than 2000 UAH. Also the minimum pension was increased. Also, as a result of indexation, from March 1, pensions raised to 8.972 million pensioners from 10.2 million.
