Saudi Arabia has made it easy for citizens of several countries, including Ukrainians, to obtain a tourist visa valid for up to 90 days.
This was reported on Facebook on Friday, September 27, by Maxim Sokolyuk, the head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
It is reported that now upon arrival in the country you can get an electronic tourist visa.
“The Saudi authorities have revolutionized the process of obtaining a visa. Now, upon arrival in the country, you can get an electronic visa that will allow you to stay in the country with a tourist purpose for up to 90 days. Ukrainians are also included in the list of countries whose citizens are allowed to obtain a tourist visa. The innovation will take effect on September 28,” – Sokolyuk emphasized.
Sokolyuk noted that Saudi Arabia is one of the most closed countries in the world, which actually did not issue tourist visas.
“Recently, only tourists traveling in groups were allowed to enter the country. Saudi Arabia also issued so-called religious visas to visit Muslim holy sites,” – he added.
We recall that Ukraine agreed to establish diplomatic relations with Grenada. The ministers also agreed to sign an agreement on the mutual abolition of visa requirements in the near future.
Also, recently Ukraine signed another agreement on a visa-free regime with one of the countries of Latin America - Ecuador.
