On September 11, on Wednesday afternoon, several explosions occurred in ammunition depots located in Kalinovka, the Vinnitsa Region.
According to the Ministry of Defense, there were six explosions of ammunition that were taken to the technical territory of the storage base for disposal.
According to preliminary data, the burning was caused by the burning of dry grass with an area of two hectares. At the moment, the place of ignition is localized.
An operational investigation team led by the First Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived at the scene of the incident.
Also, representatives of the State Emergency Service are working in the territory of the arsenal.
There are no threats to military personnel and civilians, as well as there are no victims.
On September 26, 2017 in Kalinovka there was already an explosion followed by the detonation of ammunition. Then more than 30 thousand people were evacuated from the military unit and neighboring settlements.
