Over the first day of the work, about a hundred and fifty people and about 50 cars traveled through “Zolotoe” Checkpoint, which was recently opened in the Lugansk region. We are talking about those who crossed the border line from the "gray zone" and back.

At the same time, those who wanted to get to the uncontrolled territory or drive from it to the territory of Ukraine in one day were not recorded.

"Those who came from the temporarily occupied territory of the Lugansk region, or those who intended to drive there, were not recorded by border guards," – the SBGS said.

As previously reported, six passport control stations were deployed at the checkpoint, 12 workplaces were created, and in the event of an enemy shelling, visitors and employees could hide in specially constructed powerful concrete shelters.
