The President signed the law on the Anti-Corruption Court

Today, on June 11, Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, officially signed the law “On the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court”. The law provides for the establishment of a permanently functioning specialized court in the state judicial system.

“Today, on a historic day – the anniversary of visa-free travel – I sign the Law “On the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court”. This is a key milestone in the completion of an independent anti-corruption infrastructure in our country,” – the President wrote on his Twitter page.

As we reported earlier, on Sunday, Jane 10, the Presidential Administration received the law “On the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court”. The key challenge of international partners and public organizations to the bill was the limiting role of international experts in the advisory function in the selection and appointment of judges.
