From January 1 of this year in Ukraine, Ukrainian banks and other financial institutions should provide the ability to conduct operations with foreign currency using terminals and ATMs.

This is reported by UNN.

New rules for conducting foreign exchange transactions entered into force on January 1, 2019.

The National Bank of Ukraine made a decision in June 2018. It was then that financial institutions and banks were instructed to revise the software of automated teller machines and payment terminals, which would allow customers to purchase foreign currencies.

"For the introduction of new requirements for the use of payment transactions recorders (PTR) during currency exchange through payment devices and the execution of corresponding calculation documents, cash receipts and receipts for ATMs, financial institutions were provided with six months of a transition period," – the message said.
