In the next six months, Ukrainian pensioners will be increased their legal payments twice, Obozrevatel reported. The first increase, according to the law on the state budget, expects pensioners who receive a minimum pension. From December 1, they will not be paid 1564 UAH, but 1638 UAH.
74 UAH will be paid more to Ukrainians whose pension depends on a living wage. There are few such pensioners in Ukraine - from one to one and a half million people.
Pensions of Ukrainians will receive an increase of 740 UAH, receiving them at the maximum amount (10 living wages). Today they are paid 15,640 UAH, and from December 1 they will be paid 16,380 UAH. There are about 10,000 such people in Ukraine.
The second increase, or as they call it, the modernization of pensions, will happen in March next year. This is provided for in pension reform and it will affect most pensioners.
The pensions, as in March this year, will be recounted, given the increase in the average wage in Ukraine and the rate of inflation in 2019. At the same time, each pensioner will have an individual increase in size, it depends on the length of service and the amount of wages.
