Number of measles cases has increased in Kramatorsk

Over the last weekend, the number of patients with measles increased by 3 people and it is 160 cases.

As of Monday, May 20, 160 measles cases were recorded in Kramatorsk. The information about this was published by the head of the health department, Valeria Melnik, the press service of the city council of Kramatorsk reports.

“Over the last weekend, the number of patients with measles increased by 3 people and it is 160 cases (since April 18). These are 106 adults and 54 children. Currently, 8 adults and 4 children are being treated in hospitals,” – she said.

According to Melnik, severe conditions among patients were not recorded.

As previously reported, since the beginning of this year in Ukraine, more than 47 thousand people have fallen ill with measles. 16 people died from the complications of the disease.
