Norwegian company will build three solar power plants

The Norwegian company Scatec Solar has agreed with the Ukrainian company Rengy Development on the construction of solar power plants with a total capacity of 47 MW.

That was said in the statement of the company.

It is planned to build three stations in the Mykolayiv region, the construction of which will require approximately 52 million euros. They will produce about 58 GWh per year. The project participants expect to attract funding by the end of the year with the assistance of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Scatec Solar will own 51% in a joint project with Rengy Development. Scatec Solar will be a supplier of engineering, procurement and construction services, as well as providing operations, maintenance and asset management services in power plants.

Previously, Poroshenko dismissed Alexander Krivenko, the head of the Tatarbunar Regional Administration of the Odessa Administration, because the latter did not allocated the land for a solar power plant.
