On July 11, a motorcycle race took place in Pokrovsk. About 40 professional motorcycle racers and motorsport enthusiasts of various ages took part in the race.
On Shibankov Square near the building of DonNTU, motorcyclists were met by the Mayor of Pokrovsk, Ruslan Trebushkin and Advisor to the Mayor, Yuri Tretyak, Orbita reports.
“It is very nice to see you in our city. I think this is our common holiday. I am grateful to the Dotsenko brothers that motorcycling has finally reached our city. The opening of the motorcycle school is another step to ensure that a young, healthy, athletic and patriotic generation grows in our city,” – the mayor said.
Athletes demonstrated to the audience several elements that students of the motor sports section can learn.
At school No. 4, at 04:00 PM, the grand opening of the Youth Center began, on the basis of which the motor school will be located. Everyone can enter the section by age of 6 years.
