"Gorsvet" of Mariupol is actively changing fixtures on city streets

The utility company “Gorsvet” continues to actively develop the city lighting system in Mariupol.

The utility company “Gorsvet” continues to actively develop the city lighting system in Mariupol. For the first half of 2019, the company repaired 5.7 km of a linear wire. For high-quality lighting of city streets, Gorsvet replaced 3.3 thousand lamas of outdoor lighting and repaired more than 1200 lamps.

This information was reported by the director of the enterprise Sergey Prilipin at today's session of the city council.

In addition, Sergey Prilipin said that this year the company installed 174 LED lamps and replaced 5.8 km of overhead lines.

He also noted that Mariupol is one of the few cities in Ukraine, which is illuminated all night. To provide external lighting for the city, 22.4 million UAH were allocated.

Along with the huge amount of work that has already been completed, Gorsvet sets ambitious goals. The company plans to replace about 30 thousand light points with new ones using LED technology. A loan of almost 12 million euros will be allocated for its implementation.

We would like to note that today on the balance sheet of Gorsvet there are more than 29.6 thousand lamps and almost 8.8 thousand supports. The total length of electric networks is more than 1180 km.
