Fire in Donetsk: two children died

Two children died as a result of a fire in the apartment of a five-storey building in the uncontrolled Donetsk on May 21. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the DNR.

The burning of a residential apartment in an uncontrolled Donetsk claimed the lives of two young children.

The incident is reported by the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the DNR. The report says that the fire occurred in the Kalininsky district on the second floor of a 5-storey building. One child, born in 2015, died immediately. The second, born in 2013, was taken to a children's center, but he could not be saved. The child died without regaining consciousness.

The mother of children, born in 1989, is in the hospital, her condition is difficult.

It is also reported that the fire had destroyed 3 square meters of living space, including furniture and things.

Firefighters came to the call at 14:30, after half an hour the fire was extinguished, the press service reports.

Recently, a similar incident occurred in Shakhtersk, located in the territory controlled by the DNR. Then, a child died in a fire.
