European Commission and UNDP will allocate 50 million euros to support the Donbass

The signing ceremony took place during the visit of the European Commissioner to Ukraine.

“Today I am very pleased to be here and sign a document on behalf of the European Union on assisting people from the conflict zone. This is a fifty millionth program for the restoration of the east of Ukraine,” – Hahn said during the ceremony.

He also said that this program provides assistance in rebuilding infrastructure of the Donbass, support for displaced universities, small businesses and internally displaced persons.

Earlier it was reported that Lithuania would give Donbass a million euros to support residents of the regions who have suffered from the armed conflict.
