Modern inverter welding machines, the latest electrical equipment and components - such unique equipment, thanks to the Borys Kolesnikov Charitable Fund, appeared in the professional construction lyceum of Konstantinovka.

This year, the school will celebrate its 50th anniversary. During this time, thousands of welders, car mechanics, bricklayers, cooks, seamstresses, and computer-set operators have been released from the walls of the lyceum. Viktor Gerasimov, the headmaster, recalls that a decade ago the number of students reached a thousand people. Now, unfortunately, working specialties are not in demand among young people. However, the teaching staff hopes that thanks to the support of the Guardian Council of Konstantinovka and the Borys Kolesnikov Charitable Fund, the situation will change significantly in the near future.

“The technical equipment of our university has not been updated since 1983,” – Viktor Gerasimov says. - You understand that it is difficult to learn competitive specialists on the old equipment. We learned that the foundation and the Guardian Council of the city are now actively helping Konstantinovka, and also decided to ask for help.

On January 25, the Borys Kolesnikov Fund donated modern inverter welding machines, electrical equipment and components to the Lyceum of Konstantinovka. Borys Kolesnikov, the President of the Fund, emphasizes: all Ukrainian students must work with modern technology and equipment, receive high-quality knowledge, and develop their profession.

- On Student's Day, students of the Lyceum of Konstantinovka received an up-to-date gift from my fund. From now on, they will apply their theoretical skills in practice using modern mini-power plants, electric, gasoline, pneumatic tools and accessories, compressors, and inverter welding. But these are not all pleasant surprises. Three excellent students of the lyceum, who study in food specialties, will go to Germany. They will join the trip of thirty winners of the educational project of the Fund “Food Technologies – 2019” to the industry exhibition ISM 2019 in Cologne. There, the guys will get acquainted with trends and innovations, talk with peers and foreign experts, see what they should strive for, - Borys Kolesnikov said.

Students have already experienced the new technology and were satisfied with the results.

- Without exaggeration, we can say that the experience gained while working on the new equipment will open up prospects for good employment. Thank you,the Borys Kolesnikov Charitable Fund, for taking care of the future of young people,” – the first-year student Nikita Bondarenko expressed his opinion.

Valentina Svetlichnaya, the master of industrial training, is at one with her pupil.

- The presence of such unique technology can only boast a few metropolitan educational institutions, not to mention the lyceums in provincial cities. Many thanks to Borys Viktorovich, that he went to meet us, and our guys got a unique chance to become true professionals in their field,” – Valentina Svetlichnaya noted.

The presentation of welding equipment was not the only gift of the fund to the teaching staff and students of the professional construction lyceum. Very soon there will be a kitchen-restaurant-type laboratory with a powerful production line. Now in the room where the kitchen will be located, repair work is underway.
