At a meeting on Wednesday, March 6, the Cabinet approved a plan to combat antimicrobial sensitivity.

This was reported by Segodnya.

It is noted that before the end of the second quarter of this year, the Ministry of Healthcare should develop regulations for the release of antimicrobial drugs by pharmacies only by prescription.

It is also necessary to develop a procedure for the epidemiological surveillance of antimicrobial sensitivity, as well as to develop and approve a procedure for recording infectious diseases and diseases associated with the provision of medical care.

Until the end of the third quarter of 2019, the Ministry of Healthcare needs to develop and approve the procedure for the use of antimicrobial drugs and the procedure for collecting information on the consumption of antibiotics registered in the country.
